I love, absolutely love, VIGNETTES. This is a post I have been wanting to do for quite some time and it isn't new news -- just fun news! I've been having fun lately and have been blessed with a lot of fun staging opportunities. During this time I have been collecting vignettes for my web site. I always provide these to RE's and sellers as they are great for their use as well.

I am certainly not a photogragher, but I gotta admitt, they do make me warm and fussy! I am smiling!

Karen ~ Sorry, I don't know any French, except c'est la vie! Anyway, your vignettes are great - I noticed a couple of things that are similar to what I have gotten myself and loved putting together. I think they really help add to the rooms, yet they are not overpowering.

I love using vignettes as well! You do a fabulous job Karen, the secret is knowing when to stop and I think you do that well. Fun post!

Hi Karen, love your vignettes. I just teamed up with a professional RE photographer and she photographed several vignettes in a couple of my staged homes. I didn't know she was going to do that but was pleasantly surprised with the look. I think this adds a different appeal to our portfolios.

Hi Karen, wow, very pretty and inspiring. It definitely makes a difference when you do something a little special like that.

Great vignettes. Those are the parts of staging a project I love the most. To walk in and see the overall picture is great but it's those exciting little groupings when yo get up close that really add that WOW factor. isn't it amazing how so many of us has purchased so many of the same things to us in our projects. Boy do we have good taste or what? :-)

Donna -- I bet they were beautiful as, from what I have seen, your work is great so the vignettes would obviously be the same! I would love to see a pro photographer do vignettes for me -- very cool!

Hi Robyn! it is amazing how effective the close up shots can be! Just crop some of your work and WA-la! (and, sometimes, I say boo-ho!) But when it's good, it can be really, really good!

Vingettes ... the frosting on the cake, often the finishing touches with the impact...nice work.

Karen these are so great I'm glad you didn't ask us to vote for a favorite. Vignettes are so fun to create, but always seem to get forgotten in the photo's, great point!

I absolutely agree with you, that vignettes, while small in isolation, help to complete the emotional and visual appeal and help tremendously, when well done, and yours are done to perfection. You have a ton of creativity and exceptional eye for balance, color and scale.
