Get acquainted with this upcoming technology that tracks your way of life. It is a small device the size of a small peg that can measure your daily activities including sleep patterns, exercise, calories burning and more. The device will be selling for $99.00 by the end of the year 2008. Visit their site for more info at http://www.fitbit.com/ . The results of the daily activities tracking can be downloaded to your local PC and viewed via the a web browser. The web interface looks like a cross between a community site and a calendar.

That's really really weird. Does it actually count your calories for you? How is it so smart?

I guess it will calule the calories burned providing you give it some data such as how long did you walk and so on

Interesting... I am curious about where we'll be sticking the small peg-like device. Thanks for the post. I lost 62 lbs. almost two years ago by giving up dieting and shifting my attention from the details seen above to a more basic fundamental awareness of what I already knew.

My personal opinion is that we all have everything we need to accomplish our weight-loss goals right up here in our nogans... It is more of just applying the knowledge. Thanks for the post, I will definitely check it out for my clients it may benefit...

Gosh I love the charts and stuff - $99 is a tad more than I spend on stuff like this but I am certainly tempted. I can see myself doing jumping jacks just to see the reaction on the chart.

Wow, what will they come up with next? I am not sure I want to know how inactive I am, or how many calories I am eating during the day. Don't get me wrong, I am an overall active, healthy person, but know I can even do better. I am sure this device would let me know that.
