Denver Photo Journal - Week #2

Inspired by getting better at photography I decided to start a weekly photo diary - Denver Photo Journal of the Week. Pictures of all things Colorado including people, houses, objects, animals and anything that presents a photo op and turns into a great shot.

So, without further a due, here is the second installment of photos from around Denver and of all things Colorado

Thanks for the photo journal. I really like that first picture. I was in Colorado back in college on a forest-visiting expedition. We saw a stand of trees on the hillside facing north, and the north sides of the trees were all colorful purples, reds, and oranges, whereas the south sides closer to the hill were green or pale yellow. The purpose of visiting that specific stand was to illustrate how trees react to cold. Trees need cold in order to show those magnificent fall colors.
