I just finished watching the 3rd and last scheduled debate for this election, and I will not get into the politics of my planned vote but I thought, "Why don't the look closer at Joe the Plumber, Pete the Realtor, Sue the Hairdresser, Bob the Mechanic, and Exon Mobil and address how to fix the problems of real people, not "95% of taxpayer XYZ. 

Housing seems to be at the base of all this mess, so why not help all homeowners, not just those that bought over there heads and are being foreclosed, help everyone, I am suffering from those who over bought and created this crisis, so help me, not them.

Here goes!  In Ellis County Texas the taxes on a $250,000 home is about $6000 per year, $500 per month.  Why not take the money they are giving to those who made the problem, give it to local government with the stipulation they must lower the Real Estate taxes on all homeowners, then every one is helped and the $500 per month could be lowered to $250 a month, that could be applied to credit card debts to avoid 28% interest and the "walla" the economy is back on track!

OK, it sounds simple but I am sure its not that simple, but am I the only one tired of the same old ideas, lower income taxes, raise taxes, spend more, spend less, give tax credit, take away tax credit, it all makes me tired.
