Howard Suamico School District
has wonderful program in place called the
You and Youth Program.
The
Green Bay
Wisconsin Howard School District understands that there
are endless positive benefits from
having volunteers from the community involved in our schools.
There are hundreds of opportunities to get involved with the
youth in the
Village of
Howard Suamico area.
What can you do to have a positive impact on the children of the
Howard Suamico area?
- Student
support programs: you can become a mentor, health
programs, or helping with our Giving
Tree Food Pantry;
- Teach or
office assistance: helping with mailings, bulletin boards,
shelving books or working at Book Fairs in our libraries;
- Student
activities or clubs: you can help with the athletic
progam, performing arts, visual arts, fitness, and or special interests
- Career of
business education: offering expertise as a guest speaker
or mentoring a student within your profession;
- Academic
Assistance programs: becoming a Reading Coach, a Math
Matters Supporter, or a tutor or supporter with a subject you love;
- Enrichment
Academic assistance: helping a student that loves art or
music, or has a special passion for science.
- Special
events or fundraising efforts
- Helping
supprt our buildings or keeping our grounds green and
beautiful.
A recent review of research from the Corporation for National &
Community Service show's that volunteer involvement in the schools adds
significantly to a child's positive developement and contributes to the
volunteer's happiness and well-being!
What do you need to do to get started volunteering for the
Green Bay Wisconsin Howard School
District?
- You will need to complete the volunteer application profile
- You can visit the Howard Suamico
School Districts website and complete the on-line volunteer
application profile.

- You can also stop in at any school office and pick up a
volunteer packet
