Some members have wanted an update of my new Jack Russell puppy, so here it is, fresh new pictures from Haiku Maui. Kona is such a good puppy - of course she gets lots of attention and exercise which helps. She likes to chew on bones, chase the cat, and play with our other dog who is finally getting used to having a little buddy. She enjoyed her first visit to the Makawao Veterinary Clinic where they just loved her.... more on that soon.

She's getting ready to go for a ride on the new electric motorcycle... it's so quiet that she doesn't quite know what to make of it. Okay we didn't really take her for a ride on it... yet. : )

Kona is sooooo cute!! I had a Jack Russell once...they are so energetic, aren't they? :)

Georgina, She's just beautiful! I've never had that breed but she looks so well behaved--and CUTE :)

I hear Jack Russel's are really smart. You should see if you can teach Kona to drive the Electric bike...

Kona looks great! we should have her meet my Maka! Did you watch or read The Dog Whisperer? It was an eye opener for me...

Lisa - yes, very energetic. At least she can sleep through the night now.

Carole - so far so good except for the biting

Mihaela - what kind of dog is Maka? I haven't read that, I'll have to pick it up. I love watching It's Me or The Dog though.

Look at those freckles on her belly! Makes you want to pet her and rub her belly. Too cute. Thanks for sharing :-)

Great Pics of the little guy Georgina, So how do you keep upt with him Real Estate and Blogging?

Endre - I just do what I have to do. The puppy is pretty low maintenance now, since she tags along with her Uncle Russell all day long. Blogging is what suffers. In a perfect world I wouild blog every day.

She enjoyed her visit to the vet? You must have bribed her or tied her up and blindfolded her. LOL

Amy - lucky for us, not so lucky for uncle Russell - he is being very patient

Russel - they are very sweet at the vet, and gave her little treats and talked baby talk to her. She has a lady vet.

So... did she take the ride? I know a few jack russels... I'm wondering what her reaction was. (I picturing/imagining the video right now.)

Chuck - she has now ridden with me on the bicycle (in a tote bag with her head poking out), and on the motorbike ( in my arms - back seat). From what I've been reading, Jack Russells are good at this as they are used to riding with their masters on horseback and just love the action.

Terrie - I hope we can keep up with her endless energy and inquisitiveness

Sheron - it takes a whole lot of pictures to come up with the good ones.

Hi Georgina,

I love that little sweater and from the look on Knoas' face I'd say she does too. This makes me want to go out and get another puppy.

I'm going to control myself though.
