4 Comments on Short Sales
I have closed on 2 short sales this past month and did not have that issue arise. Perhaps when taking the listing and initially submitting the paperwork you could get that info? Hard to say since short sales are so "case by case"!
Jane, this sounds a bit unusual, who want you to pay it? is it the Lender? is it the Buyer's or the Seller's fee. This sounds like a junk fee to me.
Haven't heard about this happening in my area (Monterey, CA.). Hope it's not a trend.
Jane~ I have never heard of that, but I don't do too many short sales. What was the amount and who was supposed to pay for it and whenwas it to be paid for? Vickie
