The history of Indian Springs Ranch has long been intertwined with that of the Halpin family of McLean Virginia. For over thirty years, the Halpins had a presence in the valley, and they were well-known as the owners of the very popular Lost Creek Guest Ranch north of Moose.
In 1991, the family purchased 640 acres of an entire State school section in Jackson Hole that they combined with the existing neighboring Brown Ranch to develop Indian Springs Ranch. The area was always popular for hiking, cross-country skiing, and as a nature area for the Jackson community. As well, the ponds were used for both fishing and swimming.
The original owners of the Brown Ranch, Jim and Diana Karns Brown are ranchers who in association with the Halpin family helped create Indian Springs Ranch. They still retain approximately 47 acres with their original ranch buildings overlooking a meadow dedicated as open space.
Residents of this prestigious community enjoy some of the most picturesque views found anywhere in the valley, while having lots that provide ample privacy and close proximity to amenities. Indian Springs Ranch is an incredible place to enjoy all that a Western lifestyle has to offer.
