I've always been a PC person my whole life but I really wanted to see if I could accomplish using the Butler Mohrapplications on a Mac in order to try and do some different things in my local market in the Defiance, Ohio area.

I have to admit getting use to the Mac has taken a little time for me and I've definitely run into some snags with other areas of my business and integrating them with the Mac, but it's been well worth it.

One of my favorite programs is the iMovie program.  I been working on it and making a series of videos for my office.  I'm excited about the possibilities to come through it.

I've placed one of my videos on the front page of my website, and have placed it on Youtube for you to look at.  Click HERE to see it.

If you've thought of the switch you can contact me and I'll try to help you with the transition.

Thanks,

Scott

Scott, I would love a Mac! Unfortunately our company and the local MLS systems do not integrate well with Macs at the present time. Both are thinking about changing that. Don't you just love the way the Mac is so intuitive to work with?

Maria,

The integration of the Mac to the MLS and the office copier/printer/scanner are basically impossible.  I have worked around that by using the program Boot Camp that allows me to load Windows on my Mac.  When I'm at the office, I simply boot my computer in Windows and when I want to use all the Mac applications I just restart the computer and load the Mac.  It's a little tough getting used to, but I seem to have the best of both worlds now.  Thanks for the comment!

I am partially jealous and partially ticked off.  Went to Apple to buy a Mac 6 months ago and I told the sales "dude" about my real estate programs.....and he scared me off.  My business partner went in last week whereby they will load your computer on to the Mac set him up and he is in love with his Mac.  I moves at multiple speeds than mine.  Great computer.  Well, Christmas is coming...

Sorry Tim.  I didn't mean to make you Jealous. I didn't realize the problems that I was going to have, but with a couple of calls to Apple Care I had the program I needed. Boot Camp was a free application thus that made it even better.  It's better than buying two computers.
