Disappointment set in and discouragement tried to take hold.  All of this happened to us just recently,  Breana and I started off our day at the "Walk for Life"  in Pickens county early in the morning and let me tell you for someone who does not like the cold, 50 was cold.  I was some what disappointed because it didn't seem that there was that many people there for the walk. After we started the walk I looked back and there was a crowd behind me. Still it was not huge.  But for a cold Saturday morning it was okay.

We left there and went to our church for an event that they worked hard to put together and Builders None was there for an afternoon concert.  I once again began to get discouraged, because this was suppose to be an event that the proceeds would go to our youth and teens ministries. And there seemed to be very few people there. 

I was still feeling this way up until almost time to leave, here is a very anointed band, playing as if their in front of thousands, and it's only a handful of us.  Then everything changed.  One of the leaders was feeling the same way until a gentleman started asking questions about services and the youth ministry and how to get connected. And he (along with myself when he told me this) was reminded that Jesus would leave the 99 to go after the one and one was there and that was enough!

How often do we look at the events and things going on in our life and have such high expectations only to be discouraged by the actual results.  If you think about it, sometimes God will put us in a place to witness to only one person, and yet you never know how many lives will be changed through that one person.  That reminds me of the woman at the well John 4:7-39.  This is the last verse "³⁹ And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified."  One woman Changed the City.  Do you have a desire to be there for that ONE man or One Woman?

I will look at things a little differently from now on.
