I had the pleasure of dining at Carrabba's Italian Grill on Woodruff Road in Greenville SC tonight, and I must say, it was an excellent experience! When I went it, I was greeted by two friendly people. Even though it was Saturday night, and it looked packed, I had a seat within three or four minutes. My waiter was David, a very personable gentleman who was attentive to my needs, but did not hover over the table incessantly. I enjoyed an appetizer of cheese sticks (they have a better name for it, but I can't remember it), and a tomato-basil soup.
I ordered a pasta dish, the Mezzoluna. I am not usually very fond of pasta, but I figured since I was at an italian grill, I should at least try some of the local fare. I was quite pleased with the result. The dish I ordered was half moon pasta filled with chicken - quite tasty.
To complete the night, my taste buds were overloaded with a delectable chocolate cake dessert (again, the name escapes me). I was filled to bursting, and smiling the whole time.
I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Greenville area. It will be worth your time and money!
