So maybe we are just a bit spoiled here in Beaufort SC as far as weather is concerned nonetheless we do have a few changes:

So long sunny sandbar swimsuits, welcome home snugly sweatshirts

See you next year summer dresses, come on over long sleeve shirts

Bye for now precious pina-coladas, greetings warm apple cider

Be back in a few months Barefoot Bubba's, come on in Common Ground coffee

Fairwell Fripp Island beach ball, SO nice to see you Fall Festival of Homes

Get some rest Gullah Basket Weavers, Wake up Hallelujah Singers

Parting is such sweet sorrow Beaufort Water Festival, Light it up Night on the Town,

Talk to you later Southern Sweets Ice Cream, So glad you could make it Blackstones

See yall later Back Porch Grille, it's been too long Breakwater

So for now, it is time to cozy up with friends, family, and furry four leggers, we will enjoy crisp mornings, sunny afternoons, and earlier days.

We will now congregate inside our favorite places instead of sunning on the porches.

We will still have those amazing sunsets, spectacular sunrises, panoramic water views, and all that makes Beaufort, SC so beautiful.

So scoot over summer friends, make room for fall festivals, holiday gatherings..but don't worry sweet summer sandbar, we will be back real soon.

AWE! Your blog had such perfect timing...We live in Central Florida and the weather outside is so cool and breezy...it's GLORIOUS! The kids walked out the door this morning wearing hoodies! lol I have to admit, I'm certainly looking forward to the "cool-front" we're about to have this week...

But about the timing...my eldest daughter looked at our calendar and called out, "Mom! It's almost Thanksgiving!" WHAT!? Let me get through Halloween first! lol

I went to Disney and came back and my warm weather is gone. What happened?? I too like the crisp mornings of fall, but I am not looking forward to winter. I know ours is short here in Beaufort, but those few weeks in late Dec through mid-Feb drive me batty!
