Dunkin Donuts v/s Starbucks Coffee

Dunkin v/s Starbucks...

I love coffee. I have my own Coffee Klutcher Club with my friends. I enjoy both quite a bit.

Yes they are two totally different images and price points. I know people that will only drink from one brand and never the other. Hey, if I need Coffee now...whoever is closer will earn my money. In my little part of Surburbia about 27 miles southeast of Chicago (Schererville Indiana) we are lucky enough to have both in town.

It sure is fun ordering fancy pants sounding specialty coffee at one, but the other sure has decent coffee, too.

Who wins your coffee money?

Hi Suzanne:

Normally I like Roasterie, a local Kansas City company, but recently I wrote about trying Dunn Brothers Coffee and a nearby coffee shop..... it was EXXCELLENT!  (and I like Krispy Kreme) :)

While Dunkin Donuts is good it is certainly informal.   I frequently meet my clients for coffee to go over listings and have a quick chat before home tours.   I have even met them at coffee shops to sign contracts as time is money in this fast moving metropolitan area, and a close coffee shop is better wasting commute time to go to my office.

I prefer Starbucks for clients as it has that Yuppy, High priced - High end atmosphere.  It presents better and has wireless access so I can use my computer to show statistics, competitive listings etc.  Family gets Starbucks also because Donuts are high in fat and everyone diets!  Also I tend to always have a Starbucks gift card in my wallet, so that if I am short of cash, I can still grab a nice coffee and gossip with friends and/or clients....
