"Smiling and saying Thank You" will make you rich!! Spread this habit around your office, your sales room, your business, the restaurant where you dine, and the stores where you shop. Oh for Gods sake, just Smile say Thank You and be Happy!!

If you run a real estate business, are a lender, have a staging company, work with builders and contractors, eat food, buy gas, Say "Thank You and Smile" spread it around the neighborhood. It will catch on like wild fire and the next thing you know everybody is returning it to you. Thats what happens when you take the time to say Thank You with a Smile :)

A cheerful "thank you and a smile" touches people's hearts. "A Thank You and a Smile" properly spoken will make you rich!!

Try these "thank you's" today and smile :)

"Thank you" to your children for doing anything it starts the habit early in them:)
"Thank you" to your server at the restraurant or your favorite coffee shop:)
"Thank you" to your wife when she reminds you not to forget your briefcase:)
"Thank you" to your husband when he takes you out for a fine dinner:)
"Thank you" to your real estate agent for finding your dream home:)
"Thank you" to the person that held the door open for you:)
"Thank you" to your doctor, your lawyer, and your children's teacher's:)

"Thank you" to your fellow bloggers for sharing there lives and hearts with you:)

Make thanking people and smiling a daily habit, its pays great rewards to your attitude and your paycheck, It will make you Rich!!

I forget who said it, but I thought it was insightful: If you want to REALLY know what a person is like, see the way he or she treats the people who are lower on the totem pole then they are. How do they treat children? the janitor? the busboy?

A lot of folks are nice to those who can help them.

The real measure of a person's true goodness is seen in the way they treat those who are un-powerful.

I wish I could take credit, or even remember who should have credit for this, but I think it's true.

As for any of it making you money, I don't know. But it should make you sleep better at night to be pleasant to all!

Thank you goes a long way and cost us nothing. Something I try to teach everybody not just my kids or employees.

"Being Rich" is such an over used term......

The Messiah said we are rich if we are actually poor in spirit.......NEEDING HIM more than anything or anyone.....including money.. =-)

Smiling and being thankful can make you have more joy...and make your day go much better.......and spread cheer to others......and if God wants... He can make you rich in material things and in finances.....

I do try to practice saying thank you on a daily basis. Sometimes I get some strange looks, like it is something so unfamiliar to people. I guess we are losing out on a lot in today's society.

Duayne, Thank you for posting what should be obvious, life is too short to walk around with a frown, smile and lighten up!! I thank everyone, my kids do too, it's a part of who we are. I had two realtors in the last week twith whom I had some tough negotiations, THANK ME for being so pleasant to work with!!! I see a lot of realtors get stressed, yelling and swearing, I wonder who would want to work with them? Smilin' in Va, Debbie :)

I have always believed in the quote "do unto others has you would have them do unto you" Treat people the way you would want to be treated - with dignity and respect. What you put out there is what you will get back. So if your are respectful and pleasant that is what you will get in return. It will make you richer in more ways than one.

I usually buy my gas at the same place in my town. I try to remember to say thanks before running out the door! Last week the owner asked for my card as he's going to put his house on the market in the next month or so. I also try to remember to hold the door open for people coming in behind me & they look sort of shocked. It's amazing if you slow down just a bit & smile how people will respond. Thanks for the reminder!

Thank you for the post. Thank you are two words and dont cost anything.I wonder why people are so rude at times and do not think of the word.Sometimes they may be pre occupied but sometimes you get the feeling that they are just rude.

But we are in the People Business and if we want to stay in business we have to be polite and mind our manners.

"Kill em with kindness" --- that's what my mother has always said. When growing up, if someone on the playground wasn't being nice, I would go home and tell my mom and she would say "Just kill em with kindness". I got my first job and had some frustrating days, my mom would say "kill em with kindness" --- here it is years later and everytime I wish I could just flip someone the bird, I remember my mom saying "kill em with kindness" and it works everytime. Thanks and a smile goes a loooooooooooong way!

I like to tell the new kid at the fast food place they're doing a good job when they look like a deer in headlights.. Even though it took them 10 minutes to get my order wrong..

I was the new kid once.. We all were... We just forget that part.
