Pueblo West is located on Hwy 50 West between Pueblo and Canon City.

When I first moved to the far north side of Pueblo West, for as far you could see from our house, there were a total of 5 homes, including ours.  I look out there today and there are so many homes that I can't get an accurate count.  This much growth in just 12 years! There's a new home being built almost every week!

Pueblo West has lots to offer  new residents. There's Lake Pueblo State Park right on the edge of Pueblo West. This is a wonderful recreational area!   We have the Horseman's arena, a beautiful 18 hole golf course, parks &  excellent schools!

Pueblo West is a covenant protected community. We have a large volunteer fire department and sheriff's sub-station.   The crime rate in Pueblo West is VERY LOW!

12 years ago we bought our home on 1.5 acres for $68K, it was appraised 3 years ago at 128K. Property values are rising here.

We have incredible, unimpeded views of Pikes Peak and Cheyenne mountains to the North, the Sangre de Christos to the West and the Spanish Peaks and Greenhorn mountain to the south.

New businesses are coming into Pueblo West very rapidly. We have Safeway, and Super Walmart, Checker Auto will soon be open, Walgreens pharmacy, Little Ceasars pizza, and Dominos.

A good portion of new residents are military. It's an easy commute from Pueblo West to Ft. Carson and Peterson Air Force Base.

Bonnie, I forget the name of the road, but I did a closing in Pueblo West a while back and the loan officer told me about a shortcut, instead of taking I-25. You drive across the prairie for a while, then make a connection with I-25. It saved me a lot of time.

Hey Leon! That's Purcell Blvd.  You take exit 108 from I-25.  We live on Purcell, it was a dirt road from Platteville to to I-25 when we moved here! It's way better than having to take Hwy 50 to I-25!  When I hit the I at the 108 it only takes me a bit over 20 minutes to get to the first Ft. Carson exit.   When I go to the memorials at Ft. Carson, we stage at Gate 1 (Academy Blvd exit) and it takes about 40 minutes to get to the main gate.
