Tell Your Investors to take Warren Buffett's Advice

Life is funny sometimes with timing.  I was scanning my morning paper and getting ready speak for a large group of investors when something caught my eye.  It was a story with Warren Buffett and he was detailing how he is "re-aligning" much of his personal holdings portfolio and he made a profound statement:  "Be FEARFUL when others are GREEDY and be GREEDY when others are FEARFUL".  Well, this summed up 100% exactly what I wanted to relay to these investors.  TOO many people/part time investors tried to jump on the "Investor Bandwagon" and greed caused a lot of the problems that we have right now in both Real Estate and our economy as a whole.  While all that was going on, was the time to be "feaful" and practice more due diligence and patience.  Now, everyone is "fearful" and they don't know what to do and so NOW is the time to invest.

You need to tell your current investors and those that you come across from this point forward, now is the time to "Be Greedy".  Real Estate WILL bounce back like it always has.  As Realtors, it is our responsibility obviously to put our clients in the best situation for their investments to "bounce back first".  Remind your Investors that the opportunities this market has created for investors are many.  You can show them how their cash on cash return and ROI's from the current investments available will blow away the stock market and other methods of investing.

Best of luck to you in working your business and working with your investors.

Those investors who have been around for a while now understand this better than the newer ones.  We have found it helps new investors to show them the ups and downs in the market historically and talk to them about what would have happened if you had bought towards the bottom of the last market - where would you be today???  And then it's always great to pass on personal stories to them.  Once they get their heads around what Warren Buffet is saying, they will do great!

I agree with you 100%!

Why are people so bull-headed?  It is a VERY simple program: Buy low, sell high!!!!!!  Thanks for the blog.
