How cute are your local Buses?

San Francisco has the cable cars and large cities have their trolley and street cars but I think for a small town, Charlottesville is do just fine!

Take a look at our Charlottesville City Buses"

Charlottesville City Bus

Now that has Style!

On Sundays everyone rides the buses for free!!!

University of Virginia students, staff, and faculty may ride on any CTS bus on any fixed-route, without paying a fare, simply by showing the CTS driver their current valid UVA photo ID card.

Just another reason to love Charlottesville!

Hey ! They are cute ! We don't have those around here. Usually you see a beat up station wagon with a magnetic taxi sign. Welcome to TN ! lol

We have touring busses like yours in St. Augustine, Florida and I've seen them in Savannah, Georgia.  Their real nice.

Nice bus.  Ours don't look like that but they do run on bio diesel.  The exhaust smells like french fries.

Charles that is pretty cool. I go away in the summer on many weekends up to Maine and the town I stay at has a local trolley. Everyone loves it.

That is a very cute bus.  Here in my area The Woodlands has a bus that looks very similar to that.  Now where we live there are no buses.

They look just like our 'Dillo Buses' that shuttle around and about in downtown Austin -- only ours are have don't run along tracks.  And ours are probably bigger because everything is bigger in Texas! The fare was free for awhile but not sure if they started charging since then.

Charles, Franklin, TN has those trolly busses running around the city. Much better looking than those "typical" busses...

Melissa - LOL!!!

John - I hate that smell...

Karen - Looks like the same manufacturer!!!

I think that it is nice when a city takes pride in how it looks!

Our beach buses used to look like that but the economy got the better of them and so they went to where ever old trolleys go.
