My second birthday on active rain! What, no cake?

By

For just a few more minutes, it's my birthday and my second one celebrating on Active Rain.  I would say guess my age but I would get depressed at all of those who guessed high.  Let's just say, I'm a Fred Smoot.

Last year, I was experimenting with blogging and I wished for more business.  Well, a year later, the wish has been fulfilled.  I went from an experienced nobody to the experienced guys to call for everything regarding real estate in Charlotte.  I've had to add staff to keep up with the demand.

So to AR, my many subscribers, new readers, and clients daily - thank you from the bottom of my heart!

It's not all balloons and streamers as this is the first birthday I've had where I haven't had a slice of cake.  It has become a bone of contention in my house but my wife thinks I'm fat enough as it is and another slice may be the nail in the coffin.  So, I'll have a hearty birthday glass of water instead.

My wish remains the same as it was last year but next year, I'm having cake!
