Ever hear the saying "be careful what you wish for"? 

Well I can clearly remember about 4 years ago, thinking "the market is out of control".  Multiple offers, offers WAY over asking prices.  It got to a point where I wondered if the buyers really liked the house, or if they were just writing an offer, because it was one of the few without an offer-IT WAS AVAILABLE!  I remember-even saying it outloud "this market needs a correction", it was out of control.

So I guess it is my fault...will you forgive me if I wish for another correction and the market improves?

Pat:  I think you should try very hard to duplicate the success you had with your last real estate wish concerning the market.  Just make sure to remember to put the result in reverse.  :)

If only we were as powerful as people give us credit for.  Here in Hawaii, there are large numbrs of people who blame Realtors for being priced out of the housing market.  Now that we've brought it down for them, I hope they climb on board.

I agree the market will turn and it will turn faster with agents, talking about 1 key element.  " This is a great time to buy, there is inventory out there and motivated sellers".  When I get asked in the store about the market, I say 1 thing.  I am busy, would like to be a little more but my business has made me hire an assistant.  ( you could change to entertain the idea of an assistant).  People like too do business with successful people.  Everyone knows what 90% of the ball game is? 

Keep selling Keep promoting our industry Keep Positive and we will be going strong soon.

A Manager/Owner of a company said to me that with large increases in appreciation.  People got their money or their profit early.  Concluded that if you take the last 2 years and add this year appreciation of homes, you will be at normal rates.
