A 1970s-era logo of Ocean City's famed white marlin leaping before a colorful sunset is coming soon to a license plate near you.
A monthlong survey posted on the town's Web site got 7,343 total votes and this design beat out two others with 3,463 votes in an Internet poll to determine which logo will someday soon turn your car's bumper into a mini-billboard for the resort. The Town Council, however, has final say as to what design gets sent to the Motor Vehicle Administration. Council members will hear more about it at tonight's meeting.
