Jo, This sounds like it will help many professionals---and looks like they'll be in many places as well.  I'm sure they'll get good attendance, everyone is looking for ways to help their businesses.

Hey Jo,

Sounds like good info for Canada's real estate community. Our nat'l event is coming up in FL in a few weeks, I plan on being there.

BTW, right now I'm on vacation in Mexico and I've met so many wonderful Canadians here. They're primarily from Vancouver. Actually I think we've met more Canadians here than American. Absolutely delightful people, with a great sense of humor.

Jo-Anne, I look forward to reading more from you as the conferences are held about your Ontario real estate market.  I find it fascinating to hear about what is going on in the other areas of our world in the housing market.

hi Kathy,

I think it would be great if we organized a get-together for all of the southern Ontario AR bloggers sometime within the coming months...maybe before Christmas or early in the new year. What do you think?

hi Grace!

Networking is certainly paramount in our business and helps us to serve our clients better too when it comes time to refer them to agents in areas that are outside of our service area.

thanks for visiting!

Jo - it would be a challenge to find ones active enough to be interested. There is a definite lack of interest by Canadians to stay involved here in the rain. Barrie did a meme type of challenge to Canadian Bloggers a way back and it stopped dead in its tracks.

Kathy,

true....although there are about 4 or 5 of us in the GTA or close enough who are fairly active. I remember the meme type challenge that Barrie did....I'm guilty of not continuing with it (I was so busy at the time and then completely forgot about it). I still haven't written the two 'friendship ball' posts that were passed my way approximately a week or more ago. I'm going to try and get to them sometime this weekend.

anyhow, perhaps you and Sylvie and Marg and Hillary and I could get together? Barrie would be welcome too, of course.  ((-:

This looks like a great opportunity for real esate professionals throughout Canada to get a good feel for what is happening in the marketplace.  You will have to keep us posted on what you learn!  It should be very interesting.  An AR get-together looks like a good idea as well.
