Hello Everyone,
Woke up this past Sunday to a definite chill in the bedroom. First thing I did when I crawled out of my warm bed was to turn on the gas fireplace. I refused to turn on the furnace knowing full well that it would warm up as the day progressed and I sure hate the idea of heating bills.
Well it did warm up and it turned out to be a beautiful day. Early in the afternoon my wife and I decided to take advantage of one of the few remaining nice days this year and go for a boat ride. What a wise decision that was. The sun was bright, sky blue and air OK as long as we didn't go to fast. Sure makes you appreciate beauty of Indian Lake in October. The colors were spectacular and I for one was lucky to see them in person. We were also fortunate to get nice pictures of a group of swans that also call Indian Lake home.
