Another nice day in sunny Southern California.  I get my door hangers ready and out I go to stomp the pavement of Altadena neighborhood.

After few doors, I find someone walking behind me and it's the postman.  I walk up the door, he walks up the door.  Then he passes me, then I do the same.  The dog sees the postman, then the dog sees me and barks like crazy.

I take a different street later to avoid the postman, only to find him on Highview Street.  I tell him, "You are on my street, and affecting my business."  Then he said, "I do this everyday."  And he notes, I am not wearing the right shoes to walk.  Well, he finishd the street faster than me and off before I was able to get back up to the main street.

Then I see three well dressed women going door to door.  Today is hot, and they are in their nice dress, blazer and fancy shoes.  They don't seem like Realtors (I say to myself).  I get to one door, then another only to find out that they are passing out booklet from Jehovah Witness, and I am right behind them.

I do have to give them credit for their tenancity and commitment.

Well, no wonder people are not answering my knocks today.  They already had visitors before me!

You were in a very popular area for visitors it seems.  I admire your ability to go door knocking.  Have a great weekend.

Hi Rebecca, I knew the Jehovah Witness group were out on SAT, but no on weekdays. As for door knocking - once you out there, you just stomp the pavement.

I have yet to not encounter a barking dogs whenever I do my door knocking. Of course I always give my business cards to the postman because I am sure he or she knows anyone who is looking to buy or sell a house. Much luck to you with your door knocking campaign. Have a great weekend. Great post.

Love to hear I'm not the only one out door knocking.  We gotta get back to the basics.  Thanks for the encouragement.

Joe - there are realtors out there that door knock, or do cold calls to get clients. Good Job!
