Go Phillies   Frank Edwin "Tug" McGraw Jr. (August 30, 1944January 5, 2004) was a colorful Major League Baseball relief pitcher and the father of country music singer Tim McGraw. He was born in Martinez, California and gained sports stardom during the New York Mets World Series victory in 1969 and is remembered for coining the motto "Ya Gotta Believe" during the New York Mets' run for the 1973 World Series and also said it during the Philadelphia Phillies 1980 World Series run.

He is also renowned as the star reliever who pitched the final strike for the 1980 World Champion Philadelphia Phillies, which is their only World Series Championship in team history. (Wikpedia)

I was on the phone last night making phone calls to likely voters. There were just four of us on the evening shift and we compared notes--

The callers were asked to respond to 5 questions

1. Almost all  were in favor of Protecting Gun Rights

2. All were in favor of allowing Marriage only between a man and a woman

3. Were they Leaning Republican, Democrat or Independent-Mostly Republican,

4. In the State Election -Most are Voting Republican

5. Who are they Voting for Obama or McCain-Most are voting for McCain

Among independents, most we surveyed are voting McCain--Yes!

Some will say, "well, what did you expect , you're in South Carolina!"

Well, I still believe that there are many Americans who have commonsense and can recognize that if something sounds too good to be true, it's probably a lie.

Remember, "Big O", (O=community Organizer) has no integrity, but he has a bundle of money to spend. Like the true Democrat he is, he believes in Money 3throwing money at his campaign with below-the-belt  commercials that spew lies to win converts; he believes in tossing money like confetti at all of the ills of the country. He also believes in taking our money and giving it to others who haven't worked for it.

Quite frankly, I believe  "BIG O"  LOVES   money and lives an uncommon lifestyle and yet, he wants to appear 'down' with the people. Don't believe that for a minute. If you do, let me have Michelle order you up some Iranian Caviar and Lobster Hor'sdeuvers and a bottle of  Russiann champagne from room service. Yeah, they're down alright.

Obama Biden 2And hope and pray--Jimmy B gets out there to let us know, again and again, that "Big O" doesn't pack the gear to be Commander-in-Chief

--and thanks John Murtha, (sad to say, a former Marine) for giving us another delicious sound bite or two. He has again shot himself and the "O" campaign in the foot.

Granted, our small, unscientific survey an it is not conclusive, but I gotta tell ya:"ya gotta believe."

"Ya gotta believe" for a man who is a fighter, who doesn't give up and who can pull this off--even as bad as things seem.

BaseballAs the great New York Yankee catcher and coach Yogi Berra is famous for saying--"it ain't over until is over."

It's  the bottom of the ninth the count is 3 and 2 and  this Old guy with gray hair who can barely raise his arms above his waist takes the mound--,The other side is snickering--"he can't pitch, hahahah,  he is OLD and his arms only raise so high, hahaha"--(This is because of war injuries the old man got serving his country, that jerks like David Letterman mock--I never knew a community organizer to get shot at...did you?)

"Big O" steps up to the plate

The Old Man winds up: here comes the pitch--and "Big O" strikes out!     Baseball 5

After the game "Big O" tells the reporters, this was his first time at bat and he's really a basketball player.

We can win over the tyranny of "Big O"  Presidency--But YOU GOTTA BELIEVE (and vote)

(P.S.  You can mistake the letter "O" for a number)

Here's what you gotta believe: there are more "gun lovin' Bible Huggin' " folk then the other side would have you believe. We can win.  Ya Gotta Believe.
