Florida Has a Mobile Home Financing Expert!

HUD, in June of 1976, began regulating how manufactured homes would be built. Previously, it was every manufacturer for themselves and some homes were great and some, not so much.

All post 6/76 homes have minimum wind speed restrictions and several other requirements. Through the years, and especially after hurricane Andrew, the FHA has found ways to make these homes extremely safe.

Financing is hard to get for used manufactored homes in MN. The new ones are financed by the selling companies for the most part. There is probably a large market in FL. with the nicer weather and seasonal owners.

We are very fortunate to have Mobile Home financing options...It's getting trickier every day. And not everyone is up to the challenge...And yes, the weather is absolutely glorious here in Central Florida...we actually had our windbreakers on this morning...Believe it or not.
