Joan--We have a Howl-O-Ween spectacular near our home that we took our boys to and they were able to learn about wolves, owls and hawks. It is a fun way to incorporate learning with a holiday. I would love to attend these...sounds like fun!

Joan, this is a neat idea.  About time someone stuck up for all those little creatures that have been getting a bad rap for years on Halloween.

Bill~  This looks like a fun event.  I am going to try to rent my managers grand daughters for this one!  It should be a lot of fun -- I am not sure they will like the creep crawleys.

Paul~  Thank you so much for the very nice complement.  I am just learning the "art" of blogging so you words mean a lot.  I enjoyed your post today.

George~  Between the animal that get a bad rap and the misunderstood animals, this should be quite an assortment of bugs, animals and other critters.  It is going to be interesting to learn how these creature are an important part of the eco-system.

Gita ~  You are right -- this is a great way to introduce yourself to the community and let them know that you are up to speed on what is happening in the community and with regard to the real estate market in particular.

Hi Elizabeth -- These are going to be some great events.  It is nice because the kids can have some fun and learn about these "misunderstood animals" and get up close and personal with animals that have a "bad rap"!.  The story night should be a lot of fun for the older kids.  This is a good way for families to interact, have fun and meet their neighbors. GBU my friend.

I went out and got my Halloween costume earlier today. I'm starting to enjoy this time of year now more than I did as a kid.

JL -- halloween is a lot of fun.  How is the weather in So. Carolina?  I hope you and the kids have a great Halloween and enjoy the fall.

Joan ~  I think I recall seeing a picture of you in that French Maid apron -- It may work!  I'll get those net stockings!  On the other hand, perhaps I should get out of my comfort zone and try the one in the brown bag! (lol) -- now that could really be scary!

Patricia ~  I am with you on this one.  I don't think I will ever love bats!  I do know they are misunderstood creatures, but unfortunately they scare me to death~

Suzanne ~  I have had several people agree to loan me their costumes (hee hee).  It is a lot of fun - this year I may be a vampire!  Have a great weekend.
