I'm having a GREAT WEEK, as I have heard from several other agents in my office as well...

The trend is, those who have great lawyers, investment brokers, and who are relatively astute in their own investments...pulled out of stocks and now are looking for the better place to put their money...and the cash "hog" so to speak, is in Real Estate...after all, the market is down, the inventory is there and there are many fantastic properties available...updated, and ready to move in...some are turn key, some have been redone and are listed below some of the older ones which have not been re-done...are the originals...call me and I'll separate out the good from the bad for you....954-464-4194 cell.

That above being said, The point to this blog is...stop telling me every day, the market is bad, I'm sure it is. Stop telling me the economy outside my market in your brother-in-law's area, your mother's area, your aunt's area is bad...I'm sure it is....

HOWEVER....I'M DOING WELL, I'M POSITIVE ABOUT REAL ESTATE, IT'S THE BEST TIME FOR PEOPLE TO BUY AND I'LL GET YOU GREAT DEALS!

I DON'T WANT TO BE AROUND NEGATIVE PEOPLE, MY MIND IS POSITIVE AND I'M KEEPING IT THERE.

Negativity brings you down, and I'm not going there. I have a GF who does nothing but call me with doom and gloom. There is an agent in my office who says nothing but complain about the market and doom and gloom...I told him today, I don't want to hear it, I'm a positive person and I'm doing fine..."but, HE SAYS!", but the market is bad, and I said, Talk to others who want to listen to your negativity, not me, and either stop talking about it or I'll go home and work"...which I shouldn't have to do. I don't live in a NEGATIVE WORLD AND I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT....makes me want to say, "Talk to the hand..."...

The market is something most of us have not experienced...then again there was 1985 when interest rates were as high as 18%...and even then, people were still buying and building.

Interest rates are affordable now. If you have cash on hand, like most of my customers, and a credit score around 700...we can get you a mortgage. If you just have cash, I can negotiate you a great deal.

The deals are there, there is no time in my day to hear your negativity...sorry. I have deals for you if you want my help...give me a call, 954-464-4194.

Gotta say, I agree with you, I watch it rarely anymore either...used to watch it faithfully...until lately. thank you for posting.

I ratified another contract today for a cash buyer at 400K. When was the last time that happened? It is a great time to be in real estate and you are right being positive about where we are in our business is much better than being a grump.

People who have lost faith in the stock market and who have cash...are now looking to RE...working 12 hours a day at minimum to keep up....not complaining...loving it! Thanks for posting on my blog!

Karen, things are bad and getting worse by the minute. The future is bleak and we're all sinking with the ship. How's that for positive? ...only kidding....just wanted to get you riled up! And your Mom is right, it's friggin' cold here too, it's not even winter yet! Time to move to Florida, or better yet...find a couple of those Victoria Secrets agents to hang out with... that would be a great way to keep warm...lol

Hey Karen, I have a lot of prospects that I am keeping up with and I try to stay out of the office as much as possible. I don't need to be around negative people at this point.

I used to stay home and work at my previous brokerage, now I get energized by the majority of the postive attitude and the seasoned agents at Coldwell Banker.

When I worked from home...I don't think I was as productive, after all...where was the place to relax when you work at home?

If my current broker ever heard the negative comments, she would be livid! She is fantastic and wants us to succeed...One bad apple can't spoil the whole bunch in my office...I've already told him not to talk to me about the depressing information his family keeps calling him about...I'll move to another desk space before I will continue to listen to that crap.

Negativity breeds negativity so I only like to be around the positive - Negative talk drains me!

Actually there have been many studies done on the effect of negative thinking and/or anger on the physical body. Not only does negativity kill your business. It kills your body. Keep on your positive roll. You'll live longer and have the success to live well!

UPDATE:

Negativity does bring one down for sure, I have a few friends who constantly want to give me details of the stock market and such...I tell them, that I don't want to hear it...They don't understand.

I tell them...I'm doing well, thank you, and I am not thinging anything other than positive thoughts...

After surviving cancer in 2001, I've been given a second chance at life, and I'm certainly not going to listen to negativity.

I'm going to be happy every day, and exude that same happiness and positive attitude to all I meet.

It's interesting. I just found Active Rain and am looking for an agent in Florida. And I must say that I find many of your posts to be quite negative. While I am a supporter of McCain, I find the raving about his rival to be something that has put me off. Just thought I would share it and hope you take it as helpful advice.

Study up...I'm not a negative person at all and I have many customers right now through AR...If you choose to support Obama, that is your right.

If you read up on Obama, you will see that I do not post issues with him that I can't qualify.

NO, I'm not taking your advise at all. Feel free to choose another realtor. This is America, and I don't want to see a disaster for the American, USA, and residents here fall under a total bunch of lies, which is what is going on here.

I don't need your advice, however, everyone has an opinion...you know the saying.

My posts are not negative, they reflect real life...I'm not out here to convince anyone that I'm right about my political affiliation, what I write is what I believe and the way I feel. You can choose to disagree and we can have a healthy discussion about it...

Just because you don't agree with my blogs or my opinions or my political affiliations does not mean that I'm not one great real estate agent. I am...and politics in my profession does not enter into my real estate deals.

If you want a professional in looking for a property, not many people work as many hours as I do to get you the exact property that you want, and when I am working with customers,,,politics has nothing to do with it. I do not discuss politics while I'm working in real estate...this is a blog.

If you find I'm negative about the political candidate...you are correct as I do not trust this Democrat...and I've done my homework....have you?
