But, it was a fun time.

The date: Sunday October 19, 2008

The Place: Eckerts Fun Farm

Where: Millstadt, IL.

The Event: Apple Picking with the Grandkids

If you have never been apple picking, like me, then you are missing a real fun time. The weather was absolutely wonderful. We could not have had a better day to enjoy watching them fire pumpkins out of one huge cannon, or picking apples. Other fun things going on were pony and camel rides, pig races, picking you own pumpkin and going thru their version of a haunted barn.

The best part of it all is it is just a short drive from O'Fallon and in a couple of the pictures you can see the Arch in St. Louis.
