18 Comments on Over and done with the, "I cant's". Come over to the I can's!!!! 20 reasons.
Karen, 'I can' and 'I will'. Great post!
Tim and Pam,
Thanks for the encouraging words and thank you for the kudo's... I can and I will as well!
Positive attitudes breed success.
I love that post! I love being positive! I am such an optimist and eternally happy. The pessimists call me naive. And then they wonder why they are so miserable......
Rebecca,
Thank you! I love the positiveness that I am feeling right now...it is showing right through to my business as well... Busy as I love it!
I told an agent today that was sitting a few seats away...stop telling me about the negative market...I don't want to hear it...talk to yourself...I'm "ON A ROLL" AND IT'S A POSITIVE ROLL!!!!
I shared the "I can" comment with my soon to be 5 year old son. I often explain to him that he shouldn't say he can't because, most often, he can.
Christine,
That is fantastic! I love your attitude. When my children (now 26,25, and almost 23) ever said they couldn't do something, I would ask them why they felt that way...then listened...
As children, they don't always understand how there are positive outcomes for almost all situations.
Explaining that there are reasons why they can have a positive outcome and explaining to them how to go about getting to positive outcomes, makes strong relationships with you and your child and also makes them leaders in the long run to what eventually will be their peers....
Christine, you will be a great mother!
thank you for posting!
Karen,
I am working 12 hours a day most days in a week.....because I can and I will......
Thank you for reminding us that we are in charge, and we can decide on our 'attitude". A great post. Appreciated.
Julie,
Me too, yesterday it was until 11:30 at night adding pictures to a new listing. I love it most of the time, until I have to deal with a nasty, hateful other agent who is bossing me around....and I HAVE THE BUYER... that get's tiring...but I will survive and succeed! Good for you GF! Good luck to you.
Li,
You are welcome. I went through a "fase" where I didn't think my real estate career was going to be successful, however, I changed my diet, I changed my exercise regime, I changed my attitude, and now I'm very busy...your life and your career as a real estate agent is what you make it. Period!
Thanks for the post! In this market and with all the negative media about real estate these days... you HAVE TO STAY POSITIVE for the consumers if not for yourself! People like to be around someone positive who makes them feel like "it's going to be ok" - We have to keep smiling and roll with the punches! Good Advice in your Blog! :)
I agree, don't stand still always be doing something. Read about things that can improve yourself, business and other people. Always think of other ways to do things. Keep communicating with others get their perspective and if they are negative, move on to the people are positive!
Bad things happen to everyone, but you can not let them effect you. Keep moving forward! Keep active, educate your self, help others, keep develop plans,be consistent and implementing changes.
Love your comments. I too believe in a positive attitude
Karen this is a great post, Very inspirational and up beat. It is nice to take a break from "Doom and Gloom" and read something totally opposite. Keep up the great work.
My successes have all been due to saying I can even when the hurdles were monumental.
Very postive post. You are so write about staying upbeat and busy. It does make you feel better.
Karen, from day one we have always taught our children that I can't is not allowed saying in our house.
As far as helping others we do our part but remember there has to be proper balance.
Each day I promise myself that I will wear a cheerful expression at all times and give a smile to every creature I meet.
Thanks for sharing your poitive attitude!
To all---
A smile takes a whole lot less facial muscles than a frown...
Thank you all for your comments...
Let's spread the great positive feelings to everyone! (((huggs)))
Karen
