Utilizing the internet is not only good for business but good for your health!
Blogs are an easy way for readers to obtain information (tips and advice) that they want and need. They allow us to establish a relationship and trust with our clients and potential clients and they allow us to be seen as experts in our fields.
After reading about this study, I'm even more convinced that the internet is the best way to grow our business and further expose ourselves, our services and our reach to the many people using the internet to do their research, whether they are buying or selling a home or looking for real estate related services.
Scientists at the University of California found that searching on the internet stimulates the part of the brain that controls decision making and complex reasoning.
They studied 24 people from 55-76 years of age, half were experienced internet users, the other half were not.
They found that the more internet searching experience the participant had, the greater extent of neural circuitry.
So take this as encouragement to write those relevant, keyword-rich blogs (so your posts are found), do your research to target your message (increasing your readership and client base) and make the internet a part of your every day routine - you're not only helping exercise and improve your brain function but you're providing it for your readers too. Think about it, you're helping them get smarter in more ways than one!
