This one is for all the Blogers who do nothing but sit in front of there computers all day long and talk or send there boss,s money on mindless gaming on that $3,000.00 dust collector.

Can anyone out there tell me what they are looking at ? And I do not mean someone who knows ( Inspectors, professionals,Etc.). Looking for a Home owner or maybe a Realtor.

If you happen upon my site and saw the picture I have up for my profile, what is this a picture of ?

If you read my profile it may give you a hint as to what it shows. In our area most people do not yet realize what they can do with it or what it can do for them.

So if you happen upon this site let me know what you think. Give me your best guess, enough hints were given to allow anyone to fill in the blanks.

This time of year ( Halloween ) it can do some scary things, but that is not what it is intended for.

Your profile picture is very creative. Good idea for a logo.

Bob,  This appears to be an infrared picture of the side a home showing where the heat loss is.

John McCain's prostate?

It's an infrared picture of someones front or backyard with some flowers it appears.

I like the one about the picture of John McCain's prostate. Your are sooo close Rob, but the two that almost have it are Mike and Steve.

It is an infrared picture, but it does not show heat loss. Think about stucco and the problems it brings on wood frame buildings.

Bob - Almost every house we have here has stucco. I am not aware of problems "caused" by stucco on wood frame buildings. The problems that we have with stucco are generally caused by other sources (mostly concrete above the weep screed and water from sprinklers)

Steve - Not the stucco it self, but how it is applied. NO weep sceeds installed at break between wood and masonry. No flashing around widows. Improper installation of the paper under the wire or no paper at all. No head flasing on the top of windods and doors.

No kick outs on the roof. Ground up against the home with no positive drainage away from the home.

Wire fasten with the wrong fasteners. Wrong gage of wire. To short of time between coats, as not to allow proper drying time for the moisture to get out of each coat.

Any way, back to what the infrared camera is showing is the moisture that is in the stucco after a night of rain. The owner was coming from Florida to Pa. and wanted to be sure that there was no rot around the windows, doors and at the plates of the home.

It looks like a picture of a bunch of flowers like weeds or dandelion.  I'm intrigued and will check back.
