Some functions are fun and some are not! This was just wonderful! I didn't completely understand what to expect with a "Free form forum" but I will say it was great. The presentations were fun and informative.

I was able to meet so many Rainers that I felt I was home.

Is that strange? After getting to know so many people through comments, following their lives and seeing their pictures each day I felt like it was a homecoming! Rich Jacobson and Deb Brooks

Adding hugs, face to face conversation, and sharing space with others just strengthened the bond I feel for these people! And, I got to meet so many for the first time that I will be including in my sphere that I had been missing. Jeff Turner and Deb Brooks

I was thrilled to meet Active Rain's very own Rich Jacobson, Brad Andersohn and Jeff Turner. They are as nice in person as they are in their posts!

Other Rainer's included Jason Crouch (one of my buds), Amanda Hall, Lisa Heindel, Marchel Peterson (buddy), Pippa Mac, Greg Nino, Russell Lewis, Stephanie Edwards, Michael Price and so many more! Amanda Hall and Stephanie Edwards

The sessions covered everything from upcoming technology to how to utilize today's technology! The keynote speaker, Paul Chaney is as inspiration in person as his blogs portray. Jason Crouch

Hi Debs and welcome back....the green ball is cute but it took me a ful 98 seconds to download....good thing I love you! :-) sounds like a great time......was it just A/R people.....how many people all together - and how long was the session? Looks like a great time - areyou really almost as tall as Rich? :-)

Hi Liz girl, thank you. 98 seconds huh? hum...I might have to rethink that one. I did have a ball. It was a mix of many others too. Trulia, Zillow and many others were there! It was very fun. Yes, I am 5' 9" tall with very long legs! Just the way God made me...

I wish you could have been there.

Deb, we are already home! The drive to and from Houston seems easier every time. We've been home since around 2.

OK Deb, I'm officially jealous... I knew it would be a blast and wanted to go so badly, but I had 2 deals going this week and my "back-up" is on his honeymoon so there was just no way to make this work. :( Now, I'm bummed.

DEB, It was a GREAT time. I took no pictures thinking I wouldn't post anything but ended up writing a BIG THANK YOU to everyone that put it on. I thought it was wonderful!!

Stephanie, I don't know either but it certainly shows your enthusiasm! What were your hands saying again?

Deborah Wilson, it's a blast that's what it is. It's where we all get together, choose to break into sessions listening to different speakers and simply take our time networking. It's a blast so don't miss the next one!

Thank you Deb. Perhaps if it were closer. My wife is in California for the next two weeks, so leaving for a long period of time is not an option. However, I would like to get together with some folks.

That is so cool Deb! It looks like a great time! I sure wish they would do something like that here! Then again, I wouldn't know many people, most of my AR friends are in Texas and East!

Cristal, I so wish you could have been there too. You didn't have to be a Texan to come! Lisa Heindel was there...she drove a long way in. I hope we can have an even bigger gig one of these days although with too many people we can't visit much. Maybe we just have to have more of them! It was a great time. You'll get your chance. I'm sure. Just take it....

Deb, thanks for sharing all the photos', glad it was great. Isn't it fun to meet so many people that you all ready know? Re-Bar's are so laid back and relaxed, I enjoyed the one in San Franciso.

It looks like quite the party! Too bad I couldn't be there!

What a Blast!! This was a worthy event on so many levels, thanks for posting this Lisa, I enjoyed finally meeting you and the other Rainers in Texas. Looking forward to your call on Monday! LOL~ (Big Smiley)

I'm envious. The pictures tell the story. Thanks for sharing those. My husband and I have yet to attend a convention related to real estate and/or online marketing. Our time has come!

Missy, it was really fun...more than I expected I'll say. It was real with real people and real goals and real dreams and real fun...Really it was great! I wish you and others could have been there with us.

Dear Brad, I will forgive you as you are quite tired. Meeting Lisa was great fun and I didn't feel as if I got to talk to her enough but this is Debra....you know, Deb Brooks. Lisa and I both enjoyed seeing you.

Colleen, I don't blame you for being envious. I loved it. It made a lot of what I do day to day seem even more real and important.

Gary, It was better than Vegas and I didn't lose any money!

Laurie, I enjoyed meeting you too! You are brand spankin' new on AR just like Mike said! You did so very much to help him with this project and I want you to know he let all of us know that he couldn't have done it without you! How cool it is to be so important to another person...you go girl.

Dan, I'm so sorry...if you really think it was work you are mistaken. It was sooooo much fun. Even the work was fun.

Russell, you are such a doll. I'm sorry I didn't get to spend more time with you this time around. We will make sure that changes next time. It was my pleasure.

Greg, the biggest thing I learned was that what I do every day with AR is very important to me for all the reasons I thought! It proved to me that being there is the right thing. I'm so glad you showed up. It was a real trip to get to meet you! It was the end of the day for us all and I was spacey but next time maybe we can get an earlier start! I loved meeting you.

Carole, I would have loved for you to have been there too. I must say though that I've learned that next time I have to schedule an extra day just to visit with the folks that drive in for this. I wasn't ready to leave everyone yet...it was too quick. Maybe one of these days I will be lucky enough to meet you. I can't wait!

I ended up working late and couldn't make it, I was so disappointed!

What a great opportunity to meet people from the network and learn more about our business. This is the first I have heard of an event like this. I would love to participate in the next one. Thanks for your post.

Sure looks like a fun time was had by all- I would have loved to have been there.
