Hey all you North Texas Active Rainers, Lorrie Semler and I have been at it again and thought we'd get another Active Rain Networking event on the calendar before the end of 2008. I know it's early but those holiday schedules sure fill up fast. It's on a Thursday, not a big night for holiday parties we imagine - so just stop by!

Come see some of your friends & fellow North Texas Rainers or meet some new ones. We had a great time at the last meet up!

This time we're going to meet atKelly's Eastside on the heated patio in Downtown Plano.

Kelly's offers complimentary appetizers, great food for order and happy hour specials.

The DARThas a stop conveniently located in Downtown Plano and Kelly's is a short walk up the block from the station for anyone coming from the South.

Hope you can make it!

Great Linda!

Well, Steve you are correct in that not all PR is good - however in the case of Sarah Palin, blatant lies and slander towards her is turning many people off and backfiring with outrage from women and men who feel she is being unfairly treated. This is simply outrageous in my opinion.

In all fairness, in this campaign there have been a lot of lies and slander being thrown around by many candidates and their supporters/detractors, and I have had many folks comment that Palin, as a self proclaimed pit bull with lipstick, has been one of the biggest offenders in negative campaigning, so maybe it's campaign karma for her.

Let's agree to the fact that this campaign has had it's share by both parties and keep the North TX RE gathering one of fun and friendship - not politics - by Dec. all this will be settled anyway!

If I can't talk politics what will I have to say? And I was trying to lure my friend Karen Anne to come from Tarrant County... but she has a few political leanings too. ;) What if we burst from holding it all in? That can't be healthy!
