Well the New York Times has again discovered Charlottesville, Keswick and Glenmore!

Glenmore

(photo from the New York Times)

Now I have been telling you about our great Charlottesville neighborhoods for the last couple years and finally we are getting some National exposure.

Read what the NY Times has to say here: Pastoral Landscapes and Upscale Retreats

Now they go into a lot of detail and even talk about how Keswick Estate was developed by Orient-Express (a discussion I have while touring with my clients).

I just love that the "Cons" of our area mentions only that we are not near a major body of water.

This may be a negative for some people, but my clients who have moved from New Orleans and Florida tend to feel it is a little more secure. I have a really good client/friend who says "I can always visit the ocean and then leave it behind" about a 3 hour drive...

The New York Times did miss a couple of great areas and I invite them (and you) to contact me next time they are in town. I am sure that they would love my tour but they better leave the checkbook at home or they may buy a 2nd home!!!

Having admired your beautiful scenic photos for sometime now I'm not surprised the NY Crowd found it too... I hope many of them bring a pocketful of money to buy some from you and your firm Charles.   It sounds like great publicity.

Charles, now I am really convinced that this is a nice town. A few friends live down there and they have been trying to convince me to move there.

By the way, I do not like the background. It is pretty distracting and make it harder to focus and read.
