BPO/REO Info Kit

By
Commercial Real Estate Agent with Jason Free Realty

Hello everyone, I hope this blog finds you well.  I know with all the market woes right now, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain Real Estate as the only full time job!  Well, maybe that's just in my world... hopefully you all are selling fiends ;).

That being said, there is a new market that is quickly gaining ground in the Real Estate business.  I wanted to let everyone about this website I stumbled across that offers what seems like some good material on how to navigate through the world of BPO's and REO's.  If you think you would benefit from understanding better about how BPOs/REOs and Short Sales work, then this website might be something you want to check out.  It also comes with an incredible amount of information that can put you ahead of your competition when it comes to Marketing.

I think we all could agree that in order for us to stay ahead and succeed, we need to consistently be gaining relevant knowledge so we can add value to our position as a Realtor.  Hopefully you'll find this information helpful in that endeavor.

The website can be found http://www.BPO-REOkit.com

Aaron - thanks for the tip on BPO's and REO's. We agree it is something that we all should get a better understanding about to see how to use in our businesses.

BPO IS OKAY JUST TO MAKE SOME MONEY FOR GAS BUT IF YOUR INTENTION IS TO GET REO LISTINGS FORGET IT. I HAVE DONE ABOUT 1000 BPO SOME FOR BPO MILLS AND SOME FOR ASSET MANAGERS BUT NADA, NONE, NO REO. WE ARE JUST BPO SLAVES. BPO SLAVES NO REO. WE ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY THESE ASSET MANAGERS BUT THE REALITY IS THE % OF YOU GETTING REO IS NIL OR 0%. DO SOME OTHER PRODUCTIVE THINGS LIKE GET MORE BUYERS, FARM YOUR SPHERE, DO MORE INTERNET ADVERTISING. THE AMOUNT OF ENERGY YOU SPEND IN DOING BPO'S ARE NOT WORTH IT. BELIEVE ME.

IAS is a very professional company. They don't eblast their orders. They take care of you and orders and payment are regular like clockwork. I like working with them.

Same with Brien Berard, I think BPO'S are a waste of time for me too. I feel that after doing BPO's for a year and not getting a single listing I guess that is enough for me. I have done BPO's for Goodman Dean, IAS, Ocwen but no REO listings. BPO's are good if you get REO's. But in my area, I feel that these banks and asset management companies have their own favorite REO agents already and won't change or add anymore new agents unless they screwed up. With all the loan modifications, loan mitigations being done by those attorneys without too much case on hand, I feel REO's are harder to come by for agents like me and especially to the NEW AGENTS! If I feel I was late joining the REO bandwagon, I guess those new agents are way, way too late. I don't know how many agents are on line before me. I feel working with Ready, Willing and able buyers are more productive for me money wise and time wise. I have nothing against those agents who are doing BPO's and getting REO's, or agents doing BPO's because they have no other business. Last year all I did was BPO's and those agents in my office who did not do BPO's and concentrated on working with buyers make a lot more, more, more money than I did. This year it is my turn to make more money by declining those BPO's.
