Temperatures for both day and night have dropped in the last week here in Elkhart, Indiana. Our trees are brilliant with cover, especially with the sun shining down on them. We have had frost for several days in a row and we are expected to see some flurries by Monday. WAIT! I am not ready! My roses need covered, my shrubs trimmed and probably the grass needs mowing at least one or two more times!
This is the weekend I will be tending to these chores. I cannot afford to wait any longer. I will be mixing up a few tonics as prescribed by the Master Gardner Jerry Maker and putting everything down for their winter nap. Where did summer and fall go?
