Hmmm?  That's quite a premise, and according to the Book of Job 5:7, "Man is born into trouble...."

Be sure about it, if you're Christian you'll be tempted to be better than the average Joe or Jane -- MISTAKE ONE: WE CHRISTIANS ARE NO BETTER (but if we're faithful, we have a better chance to have God bless our walk...and our real estate business)!

It's not uncommon for other Realtors to challenge the faith of Christians, when instead of complaining about the market, we turn to prayer and compassionate service.  In fact, accepting the common thought that the real estate market is bad is the easiest thing to do...it's harder to pray that the market isn't bad by speaking confidence into both yourself and the market.

But you see, that's exactly what Christian Realtors can do; pray the market into a yield for yourself by speaking forth your confidence in yourself and the market that you'll approach with the favor of God!

We believe the power of God spoken into the market is directly related to your willingness to seed your good fortune to others, to your local church, to charities of special meaning to you, and even to your local Christian radio station.  I heard a lady on disability, taking in a whopping $650 a month in income, re-pledge a modest amount of money to aid her local Christian radio station.  She had been faithful to her pledge for an entire year, and was ready to pledge again.  The music they played, and the comments of radio personalities had deeply moved her.  Even though her pledge was only 5% of her monthly income, it was probably worth ten times that amount in the favor she earned from God...I believe.

Terry, thanx for the encouragement...and the challenge.

She reminds me of the widow's mites (Luke21:1-4)

Hi Wayne -- good call on Luke 21:1-4.  Thanks -- don't we love both encouragement and challenge when it's the Lord that's in the middle of it!  God bless you!

Terry ~ Perfect insight for today!  I try to approach everything with a Malachi 3:8 type of mentality.  Trust God and see!

Hi Tracy -- I love it: a Malachi 3:8 mentality "Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings."  Oh yea!  God bless you....
