Fall Leaves & Daisies PictureThis picture of Fall Leaves & Daisies pretty much sums up Fall in Concord North Carolina... you never know what you're gonna get!

When I saw this sight, during a walk with my daughter Ashley, in J.W. McGee Jr. Park in downtown Concord, I couldn't help but think how contradictory it seems.  But, it's no wonder that we have flowers blooming and leaves turning to fall colors at the same time.  Today's date is October 25th and so far the month of October 2008 has brought us a wide range of weather... with highs ranging from 58°F to 84°F and lows ranging from 34°F to 64°F.  Now that's Carolina weather for you!

Thanks Laura, I appreciate the compliments.  My mom moved over to Calabash NC earlier this year, and even the beach areas of NC have wild variances in weather.  The positive thing about living in the Piedmont area of NC and east is that you rarely have the need for a winter coat!
