I recently got a loan modification. I urge anyone who is in/or about to be in some type of financial hardship to contact their current lender for some help. I was in an 2 year arm in my first home i ever purchased and contacted my lender for some help before it reset. Much to my surprise within 12 days I was offered a loan modification lowering my interest and putting me into a fixed rate plan for the remainder of my term. Don't wai or be ashamed of asking for help, just do it.
