St Charles County MO Let Me Introduce You To MealThymes...

Have you ever wished you didn't have to prepare a special meal that had to be just perfect?  Then you opted to go to a fancy restaurant because it was just easier, and on top of that you may not have the experience!  Do I have the solution to your headache and no it is not take two aspirins and call me in the morning.  It is called MealThymes and Personal Chef Lauren McCabe will do the work for you.

Imagine this, you come home after a long day of work, everyone wants dinner but the thought of preparing a meal leaves you even more tired than you were when you came in.  Been there done that!  Today could have been your MealThymes cook date and all you have to do is open the fridge where you will find a fresh, healthy meal waiting for you and the family.

Personal Chef Services can be booked weekly or to fit your own schedule.  Chef Laurens' typical service includes:

  • Customized Menus
  • Complete Grocery Shopping
  • Preparation in your own home
  • Safe storage based on your preferred heating method
  • Cleaned and sanitized kitchen
  • Happy and satisfied diners

Chef Lauren does all the shopping, brings all required equipment, prepares your choice of healthy meals, stores them in the refrigerator or freezer and leaves your kitchen spotless.  All you do is enjoy!

Do you have a dinner party or a special occasion coming up?  Give Chef Lauren a call.  Imagine having a complete gourmet meal prepared for you in your own home.  The work is done for you, giving you the time to spend with your guests and you get all of the credit.

In April I introduced you to The Vintner's Cellar and this past Tuesday evening I met Chef Lauren during a cooking demonstration there.  Let me encourage you to mark your calendars for the next two dates, November 12, 2008 and December 16, 2008.  You will be able to enjoy Chef Lauren as she will be preparing Easy Holiday Appetizers, Nov. 12th, and Elegant No-Bake Desserts, Dec. 16th.  So make plans to come out to Vintners Cellar and learn from Chef Lauren, I know that I plan to be there and have another enjoyable evening.  The cost is $10.00 per person and includes a glass or two of wine to go with the fare for the evening.  By the way, Chef Lauren also furnishes the recipes for the items that she will be preparing for the evening and take it from me, they are not difficult to follow either.

Two great ideas come to mind with this post:

  1. If you have a Birthday coming soon book a wine making party at Vintner's Cellar several weeks in advance and make your own wine and then,
  2. Contact Chef Lauren to do that special meal for that special day.

Call Regina Ruppert at Vintner's Cellar at 636-300-9960 or Chef Lauren at 636-346-7710 and ENJOY!  I promise you will have a very pleasant experience.  See you no Nov. 16th at Vintner's Cellar.

I can see why people would have a need for this kind of service.  In busy times it makes sense.  I am the Chef Lauren in my home so there is always something to 'heat and eat'.  I intentionally make too much for the ability to have left overs all week.  It would be nice to have someone else cook for a change, however...

Chef Lauren says great. We have some similar home catering companies in our area. I really need to try out this new idea for convenience sakes. Thanks Don.

JL,

This is the kind of service that folks could use over the holidays.  And she makes it look easy.  She did a Beef Burgandy this week and it was out of sight.  I could see me being a little porker if I would have stayed around a little longer.

Mel,

Let hubby know that you need a break!!  I am sure that he would be agreeable to that, wouldn't he?  A nice meal, a little wine, some nice soft music playing, soft candle light.  Darn that sounds good I think I'll call the chef for me.

Gary,

This does sound like a great break for the norm.  I may have to give this a try myself.  Thank you my friend for stopping by and commenting.

Bill,

This is something that I would think a lot of people would like to at least try once.  Have a wonderful meal in the privacy of your own home and it is fresh and not fast food.
