Rich it's time for a new hat man.. that one if falling apart. Sounds like your had a great time with Texas's finest bloggers. I noticed by the time you remembered Russel it had gotten dark - LOL
You said it so succinctly and I'm so glad you did, especially pointing out the people that spent their hard earned money and time to fly in from around the country to give us their knowledge and experience in a transparent and non self-promotional way.
Rich... sounds like a good time.. I always like meeting people and especially those that we have talked to for a long time here on AR... and yes, I am confused, did you drive all the way down? And how are you able to see the road? lol Glad it went well.... and oh yea... when will anyone visit us out here on the east coast? zZ Z z z zz Z ZZ Z zZz z
Michael, you and Laurie did a fantastic job of gathering the right minds in one place. As Rich said, it really is all about a passion for learning but it can't take place without a passion for teaching. GOOD JOB!
Rich, It was great meeting you and Active Brad. You guys really play off each other well. Thanks for sharing and moderating several of the conferences. I ran out of time that day I wanted to talk with you about Localism. Oh well, they will have to wait till another day.
Hiya Jill! It was a treat getting to meet you! There never seems to be adequate enough time to spend with everyone! What's did you want to discuss about Localism? Shoot me an email, or let me know when's a good time to call....
Glad you made it home safe and sound ... many thanks for your kind acknowledgment ... I'm getting my own recap together this weekend. Enjoy a much deserved rest this weekend. Nice job in Houston!
All I gots to say is "Quit your whining Blog Boy"...Honestly, I have no intention of missing my one chance to finally meet my Gracious Rich and The WidowMaker (Bob). I am going to the Orlando party. You can just rent me a wheel chair and push me around. Isn't that something you like doing anyway? :) Aside from that I'm sure the Guys will find me a comfortable place to sit and put my leg up. Everything will work out fine. Just wait and see :)
Gracious...
I am so happy you're enjoying yourself, going one on one with the members and just having fun doing your job. I don't think life can get any better than that :)
I am really sorry I missed it. ESPECIALLY since I am soooo close to where you folks were. I don't think I knew enough about what was going on to know that's the spot I shoulda been! I'm too new. I will definitely make the next one. KM
Rich! Glad you had a good time, it was awesome having you two down here!!!! Thank you so much for everything that you all did to help get the word out about the event. Y'all are awesome!
P.S. When do we get to see the picture of you with CrabbyDaddy? :) Wish like hell I could have made it to the after party.
Rich - No worries on the hat. I have the same hat that I got when I first entered this industry seven years ago. It's nostalgic and comfortable. I don't care what Mr. Stewart proclaims, you are a handsome man:) I would have loved to been there. One of these days...
Rich - As you already know, I was very excited to get the chance to meet you in person finally. I value your friendship. As for Russell, I guess we'll keep him. :)
Rich, I just had a wonderful time getting to know all of you better! It seemed to pass like lightening and I wish I could be in Orlando! Party hardy and take lots of pics! Glad you're home safe...why isn't this in Diary???
It was wonderful to get to meet you, Rich! The event was a success, but the best thing I got from it was a little better relationship with some people that I've only ever "talked" to online. Being able to sit in a class with them, visit personally with them....that's worth the travel time for sure!
Fun recap on REBCH, Rich. These events where we can meet and intereact with those we have gotten to know on-line, share ideas, and learn as so worthwhile. Wish I could join y'all in Orlando but it's not in the budget.
Hi Rich! I am laughing so hard at the"Voice in the Dark" and you my friend totally ROCK too! I had such a good time meeting you and Brad because the two of you are so genuine and so much fun too and SO HELPFUL! As you said the added bonus was actually meeting all of the great members who I have met over the last few months at web site! It was truly an incredible experience and I look forward to the future here at Active Rain! Thanks a MILLION!
This really was a great time. I enjoyed getting lost with you Rich, and really enjoyed having my own room! LOL~ It's always a hoot when I get to do these with you, I'm looking forward to many more, like the one in SO Ca. coming up soon.
I really liked this video, you summed it up well, didn't miss anybody I don't think, except for Michael's wife who did a stupendous job, and I loved how you remembered Russell at the end, and recorded it in the dark. Enjoyed it very much! Thanks. Glad you made it home ok buddy.
