I have never been to out 50th state, but I hope to get there one day!
Neal...
I hope that you had a great trip!
Gary...
I get tunnel-vision once I start taking photos ... nothing else matters!
Pat...
Thanks, I now have something to laugh about!
Jane...
A shooting competition?
Well, at least the cold water will wake you up.
Richard,
Cool photo. Sorry about your cold, wet foot.
Ann
Shane...
I look for photos every day, but take trips locally (within 150 miles) about once a week, and out of state about 4 times a year!
JL...
It did indeed!
Ann...
It was worth the wet foot for the pic! THX
Richard, The pain that true artists must suffer for their craft. Make sure you keep both ears though, they're a matching pair. It did help Van Gogh though.
Richard I...
Well, I still do have both of my ears, so I'm not truly ready to commit to my art just yet! lol
MMMM mmmmm Richard.....BEauTIful! Definitely mesmerizing.......swirling gold,....beautiful photo........you captured a moment in time!
Thanks for the pic Richard.....nothing like jumping right in and getting your feet wet!
Richard, A good photographer braves the elements to get that perfect shot. I remember being in water up to my chest taking the 'perfect' picture of a lighthouse... Things we do when we get in our right mind eh???
"I'm ready for to fade"...that's always been a pet peeve of mine. Even after all these years......and I didn't think it sounded any better by The Byrds.
Good morning Richard. Very hallucinogenic picture. And blog.
Perhaps something a little stronger than coffee enjoyed on your trips to nature?:)
Ken
Richard, nice picture...and Ken has the same question I have...What was in that AM coffee!! ;}
Talk about being engulfed in your work. I can only imagine the excitement whe the picture was finally taken and your foot was out of the water. LOL
Ricahrd -bummer to end up squishing the rest of the day. But, at least to us observers, your wet footed discomfort was certainly worth the pleasure of reading your post and looking at your dizzying picture.
Great pic and great song....didn't think you were old enough to have heard that one!
Liz...
I saw the leaves swirling and thought: "How should I try to capture that?" I think I did okay! ;)
Mandi...
I love the cold freshness of mountain streams, but not necessarily wading in October!
Michael...
I waded out to a sandbar in the Atlantic with my camera case held above my head to get a shot like that. The things we do!
I hate it when my feet are cold!
Melly...
In this case, it was "foot!: At least one was warm. lol
Richard,
Of course if was worth the wet foot...and so much more.
Ann
LOL, Nature has a way of bringing us back to reality!
