Do not skip the mortgage preapproval process

The mortgage preapproval today is a lot more than just a fact-finding investigaten. A preapproval and a prequalification is a very necessary part of your home buying process. They don't only help you to avoid buying a lot more home than you really can afford, they also help you when it comes time to make a offer on a home. They add strngth to your offer for that new home, you and your family like.

Dale - So glad to see your wrote of the importance of the home loan process. As we all know through the years some loans were made that were not good but going forward this will now change. I say be prepared, save your money for the down payments and like Dale has said, don't buy more then you can afford.

With first time home buyers, the key is education.  There is so much to know when purchasing your first home, understanding a mortgage, I think is one of the most complicated portions of the process.  I find that getting a buyer to understand the difference between a pre-qualification and pre-approval is something that I always go over with them.

Howdy Morgan

Glad to have ya come by to visit, and have ya leave a fine comment. Here at my little ol Blogging Homestead.

Some First Time Home Buyers, don't understand every thing about the purchasing of their First Home. Thats why it's up to all of us, in the Real Estate Industry. To educate folk's about it as much, as we can. I've got to tell ya, I've even came along some Real Estate Agent's up in this area. That don't know the difference between a pre-qualification and folk's that have a pre-approval letter. Now ain't that something.
