I just signed up with Lowe's realtor benefits. Been meaning to do it for a while, but just never got around to it. So far, I'm very impressed. Once you sign up, you are eligible as a realtor for all of the discounts your clients could get. There are three options available, potential buyer, seller and new homeowner, each with different pictures available. Every client you enter gets a 10% discount coupon at Lowes and then you get to select another benefit from a list of six other things. They range from money off of paint, to a 20% discount on new carpet. Their system keeps track of your clients and shows you exactly what they will be receiving in the mail. It also tells you when they can expect to receive it and shows you a mock up of exactly what they'll get in the mail. It comes out to three different pages. Pretty slick. You can also customize the pictures that is printed on the front as well as change your information as often as you need to.
Also included is a personalized "dream book" available online to your client (that's the sample.shopper url). I'm trying it out on my clients that I've been blogging about. (evil title, etc) The transaction was a trying one and they were super the whole way through. Plus they are going to remodel the kitchen and paint, so its a perfect gift. If you haven't signed up already, go to lowesrealtorbenefits.com. You'll have to enter a bunch of information at first but then you'll be ready to go. As a side benefit, you can order gift cards at a 5% discount as well as purchase magazine subscriptions as well as send your client a subscription to Lowe's Creative Ideas magazine. If anyone else has already been using this, I'd love your feedback on how its been working out for you.
Can you Digg it? I knew you could!
