Saturday the Weiner Dogs Ran! At Veterans Memorial Park in College Station Texas, the Brazos Valley Animal Shelter hosted the second annual Weiner Fest. This event included costume contests, weiner dog races, a silent auction, vendors, food and entertainment. What a fabulous event! Weiner Fest - Brazos Valley Animal Shelter - College Station, Texas

The Weiner Fest is one of the best and funniest events to go to for the year!

My favorite race was the handicapped dogs.

One dog came out in a wheelchair (PVC pipe on wheels)

The owner placed his legs over the pipe.  He was fast, won the race.

Makes a person rethink their obstacles in life.

Susan, Great fun post, I am sure it was fun for the wiener dogs as well.  My uncle had one that was the best bird dog ever, great on quail hunting.
