Protect Your Images With Free Watermarking Software: Free for 1 DAY ONLY

By
Services for Real Estate Pros
Do you need to put a Watermark on your pictures?
Last week I posted about free software that would allow you to do this. This week, the same website is offering an even better program for watermarking.
Here is the web address:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/watermark-factory-2/

On this site you will find a description of the program, and below that you will find comments from those who downloaded the software. As with any site that allows comments, you will always find those who have to complain no matter what, and you will find that on this site also. Just ignore them.
I found comments #19, and #39 - #44 to be useful comments.

This software is only free for one day only, and I belive it is free until midnight PST. The site tells you the amount of time you have left. I know some of you Realtors will like this software as you can protect the images you post to your website and blogs. Enjoy!

Being free, it comes as is without any tech support. The regular cost is $49.00

HI GREG!

That's awesome.  I'm glad you shared this with us.  I always love free.  Have you tried it?  Is it working well?

Thanks,

Yvette, I haven't tried it yet, I don't have time to play with it right now, but since it is a one day give-away, I thought I would go ahead and share this with everyone.  They give away free software every day and I get email notices.  I usually can't use most of it, however, many times in the comment section if someone knows of better software than the give-away and it is also free, they tell the group.  I found a good clipboard program the other day that allows us to extend our computer clipboard, and I've needed that many times over...now I have it!

For those who want to get notices of the daily free software go to the main page:
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/  and on the right side of the page is a link to subscribe to the site.

Charles - I'm not sure if the download and install has to be completed by the end of the day.  I do know it has to be downloaded though and when you get to the site it will tell you how much time you have left.

Elizabeth - I'm glad you saw this new software offer, especially since a lot of the comments said this is better than the previous offer.  My day has been unbelievably busy and I am just now going to go download this myself...finally.  I almost forgot about it.

I don't see a watermark on the photo on your page.  Do you use it?  What kind of photos do you use it on?

Jean - You don't see a watermark on my photo simply because I haven't put one there, and I doubt I will.  I don't have as much of a need to protect images as some of you do, so I simply shared this information with those of you who do have a need for this program.

The big problem on the web (in my opinion) where images are concerned is knowing which images are copywrite protected and which aren't.  People just don't put the copywrite on their images.  I think they should be required to do so if they don't want the image to be used.  I've seen just the opposite opinion from others who feel that all image are protected unless otherwise noted.  So, where would this notation be?  Right or wrong...Common sense says that if the copywrite isn't listed, people are going to copy it.

Lots of members here on AR get very upset that people copy their images...this program is a way for them to protect those images.  I hope they were able to get the program while it was free.

For the tech savvy, you can also embed a link in your photos and when someone downloads it/saves it/uses it on their site, Google will let you know.
