Two Thumbs Up, Mike!
And exercising your right to vote is taking a stake in your future!
Our Founding Fathers had a vision for our country. It has served us well for most of these years. Unfortuantely we are loosing the vision they fought and died for. They pledged their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to see this county established.
God help us.
Many have fought, Many have died, and way too many take our freedom to lightly and have resorted to apathy.
As Missy stated: God help us.
I agree -- Two Thumbs Up!! Since when did capitalism and personal responsibility become a bad thing? I was always taught to work hard for what you want and that nothing is ever handed to you. My husband and his family worked their way off of welfare ~ he's been working since he was 11 and owned his first business when he was 24. All of the sudden that is supposed to be a bad thing. What is the world coming to!?
Jeannie,
Thanks for speaking up!
Cameron,
Thanks for commenting. We've become way too self-centered as a nation, IMHO.
Missy,
I appreciate what you have to say.
Joan,
I couldn't agree more. I'd like to see professional journalism make a comeback, though. I saw an interviewer on the street questioning likely voters on both sides, and the way people answered (both sides of the aisle) made it clear that they didn't understand their candidate's position.
Mike,
Thanks for the encouragement! ...and for being first to comment.

We have so much going on in our county lately sometime we forget about the people that came before us that allow us to live so well. Thanks for the reminder.
Do you ever think about how hard it was to get information before the internet? It seems so odd to me that just a few years ago I couldn't access information on anything I wanted at a moment's notice.
Christine,
It's amazing when I think about it. Now I have to get my brain working on video. Thanks for commenting, and for subscribing to my blog.

Mike - your comment on the colors of our flag moved me so much - to think that so many in this great nation that so many fought and died to defend would just give up their rights without even a thought because it is the easy way out. They do not realize where we are headed unless the tide turns.
Judy,
We owe them a great debt, don't we? Thanks for your comment and encouragement. I appreciate you.

Mike - I'm seeing more and more quotes these days, especially by Thomas Jefferson. "The central bank is an institution of the most deadly hostility existing against the principles and form of Our Constitution..."
Karen,
The founding fathers, and many who came after them, would be shocked at the present level of understanding of the principles of our constitution by people who profess to understand it!
