When reading this, it reminds me of the simpler days. One thing I do regularly is turn off my cell phone when I am at home. You would be surprised at how many people ONLY try me on the cell phone. It makes my days in the house much quieter. It is not like they do not have my home number, they just do not think to use it. So turn off the cell at home and you will surprised at how quiet it can be.
I also do not travel with a laptop any more. In reality when I am away anyone who needs me knows how to reach me by phone. I say, "How important is it anyway"????
Happy Monday!!

I think back to being in high school -- not only were we without cell phones, I-pods, text messaging -- but we didn't have computers. We didn't have electric typewriters. All my typing was done on a manual typewriter -- I had very strong hands back then. We survived nicely without all the extras. Television was in black and white, transmitted over the airways (we had those nasty old TV antennas on the roof then) AND TV was FREE -- we didn't pay for cable or satellite. We didn't have VCRS, CDs or DVDs. We only had about 8 TV channels to choose from. If I cancel my TV service I'll save $50 per month. But, I don't like changing my routine -- dog gone it -- YOU ROCKED MY BOAT ! :) ~ Evelyn
Back to basics.
Not sure I am ready to go there.
Somedays I yearn for the simpler things in life.
Have a great week.
