It is a gorgeous day in South Florida. Lake Worth at least. It is a bright sunny day and it isn't so hot that you want to stay inside in the air conditioning. Nice clear sky too.
Which makes it all the worse that I have to sit at my desk looking at it go by. Now you could take the stance that at least I can see it. In my last career, computer chip manufacturing, I was so far inside a building and away from any windows that all I wished for was a spot with a view outdoors.
You know how it is, The grass is always greener...
So on to the million dollar question. Where are the buyers. There have to be some of you out there. Come out come out wherever you are. There are too many fantastic buys out there now. All of which will be someone else's if you don't call me!
The pedestrian friendly City of Lake Worth is close to the ocean, close to transportation and has a nice cozy downtown with lots of restaurants and nightlife. We are also within a 10 minute drive of downtown West Palm Beach with it's performing arts center and a host of places to eat, drink, and be merry.
Our downtown hosts many fun festivals and parades. Most notable are the Christmas parade. Veterans Day parade, St. Patrick's Day parade and the Palm Beach County Gay Pride Parade. Our Bryant Park is located on the Intra Coastal waterway, has boat ramps and a wonderful band shell, and is also host to many festivals. We have the location, we have the homes, we have the amenities. Now all we need to find are the buyers.
The home prices have taken quite a plunge here. We are now selling homes in the area for about what they were in 2002 - 2003. It truly is a great time to buy!
