Micah's Place is a 501(c)(3) organization and the only non-profit certified domestic violence center in Nassau County, Florida. It's vision is to provide prevention and intervention services to victims of domestic violence, and to provide eduction within the community to effect change in behavior and attitudes relating to domestic violence. The organization provides
- Emergency response (Temporary emergency shelter- 24hrs a day)
- Safety assessment, planning and follow-up Services
- Outreach services for those not in need of shelter (At Fernandina Beach, Yulee, Hilliard, Callahan offices)
- Youth programs
- Prevention Education & Training
